Kids Club

Enjoy a hotel with children’s entertainment, where children live adventures at the Kids Club with creative activities and lots of fun.

Kids Club—where great adventures begin

With games, creative activities and outdoor play, the Kids Club offers supervised group activities for children aged 3 to 12, inclusive, staying at Golden Club Cabanas. Activities are held in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in accordance with the weekly programme.

The service operates under group supervision and is not a substitute for babysitting, one-on-one supervision, health care, or therapeutic support.

Who can participate?

  • Children ages 3 through 12, inclusive. Three-year-olds may participate only if they are no longer in diapers and can use the restroom independently.
  • Only children staying at the Golden Club Cabanas with their guardian.
  • Children who are able to stay in a group under the team’s normal supervision and use the restroom independently, except when they are accompanied by their guardian or an authorized chaperone.
  • For reasons of hygiene, comfort, and safety, children must wear appropriate clothing; they are not permitted to remain in the Kids Club wearing only a swimsuit.
  • Between December and March, as part of the Toddlers program, parents or guardians are allowed to stay at the Kids Club during activities.
  • The reference capacity is 30 children. The actual capacity may vary depending on the number of staff members available, the children’s ages, the scheduled activity, and the areas used.

Note: The Toddlers program runs from December through March and allows parents or guardians to stay at the Kids Club with their children.

How does it work?

  • Before the child’s first session, the parent or guardian must fill out the Registration Form.
  • At each session, the child is brought to the team in person, and the arrival time is recorded.
  • During the session, the person responsible for the child must remain on the premises, be reachable, and be available to come to the Kids Club within 10 minutes at the latest.
  • Upon departure, the child is picked up by an authorized person or leaves on their own, provided there is express authorization on the Registration Form. The time and method of departure are always recorded.

When a child is permitted to leave on their own, responsibility for supervising the child passes to the child’s guardian as soon as the child’s departure from the Kids Club premises is recorded.

Additional needs or health conditions

If the child has a health condition, allergy, disability, special needs, communication or behavioral difficulties, or any other situation that may require special attention, this information must be provided on the registration form.

A Supplemental Assessment Form will be completed, and participation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, according to the child’s specific needs, the activity, and the available resources. A diagnosis, in and of itself, does not preclude participation.

Depending on the evaluation, the outcome may be normal participation, conditional participation, participation accompanied by the child’s guardian or an authorized chaperone, or temporary inability to participate in a specific session or activity.

Food-Related Activities

Some activities may involve food. Participation requires specific authorization and prior disclosure of any allergies or intolerances. Please check the ingredients and allergens before the activity.
