Who is responsible for collecting and processing the data?
The entity responsible for collecting and processing your personal data is “5 Sites Cabanas – Serviços e Imobiliária S.A.”, referred to hereafter as “5 Sites”, which may, in the scope of its activity, resort to the use of entities subcontracted by it for the pursuit of the purposes set out here.

What personal data are collected and processed?
The personal data collected and processed by 5 Sites includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Bookings: Name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, payment method and details of the booking
- Recruitment: Name, e-mail address and CV
- Newsletter: E-mail address
- When you are using our website, 5 Sites may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and the browser you are using, for administrative purposes and to aggregate information for its advertisers.
5 Sites assumes that the data were supplied by their owner or that said owner gave their consent for the purpose and presumes that the data in question are correct and up-to-date.
How are your data collected?
Personal data may be collected by the following means:
- Website
- Phone calls
- In-person
The data collected are processed and stored electronically and in the strictest compliance with the legislation governing the protection of personal data; they are stored in specific databases, created for the purpose by 5 Sites or by its subcontracted entities.
Some of the personal data fields on the website are mandatory; if the data requested is not provided or is incomplete, 5 Sites may not be able to provide the services or the information that you have requested. If the personal data requested is mandatory, 5 Sites will inform you of this in each specific case.
What are the purposes and grounds for processing your data?
In accordance with the principles of data protection, 5 Sites will only process your personal data for specific purposes and if it has a legal basis for doing so. 5 Sites will use your data for the following purposes and based on the following grounds:
A. Based on the agreement that you entered into with us for hospitality services, we process your data for the purposes of:
(a) Management of bookings and stays
(b) Requests for quotes, information and booking confirmations
(c) Keeping a record of your preferences (e.g. preferred room, mobility, newspapers/magazines, etc.)
(d) Invoicing and verification of payment methods
(e) Providing you with information essential for your stay at the hotel
(f) Customer support
B. Based on your consent, we process your data for the purposes of:
(g) Sending newsletters (if you are not already our customer)
(h) Sending marketing campaigns (if you are not already our customer)
(i) Loyalty programmes
C. In order to comply with legal obligations, we process your data for the purposes of:
(j) Complaint management
(k) Compliance with other legal or regulatory obligations
D. Because you are our customer and we have a legitimate interest in wanting to provide you with an even better service, we process your data for the purposes of:
(l) Conducting customer satisfaction surveys regarding your stay
(m) Conducting market studies, assessment surveys and statistical analyses
(n) Contacts list
E. As part of our pre-contractual procedures as an employer, we process your data for the purposes of:
(o) Recruitment
In the pursuit of the purposes set out above, 5 Sites may cross-reference the data collected with the aim of updating and completing them.
Who do we share your data with?
The data collected and held by 5 Sites may be passed on, while respecting the duty of confidentiality and the principle of the purpose for which they were collected, to the following entities:
- Entities belonging to the same group as 5 Sites
- Judicial or administrative authorities, where such disclosure is mandatory
- Recruitment and selection companies
- Subcontractors that will process the data on 5 Sites’ behalf and in accordance with the purposes determined by 5 Sites

What rights do I have?
